1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup salted butter
Combine both ingredients in a non stick pan and continuously stir until a golden amber colour. Even if it gets grainy just keep stirring until it changes and comes clear and a golden colour. Take off the burner and pour into parchment paper. Cool and spread melted chocolate overtop and sprinkle with chopped almonds. Or leave as is and just chop it up to use as a delicious topping or in desserts.
