4 C. (heaping) cut up rhubarb
1 C. packed brown sugar
1 egg
3 Tbsp. flour
Mix together and pour into unbacked pie shell.
Topping:
1/2 C. butter or margarine
3/4 C. flour
1/2 C. brown sugar
Cover the top of ruhbarb in the pie shell with the topping.
Bake on bottom shelf at 450F for 10 min. Reduce heat to 350F and bake on the centre shelf for another 55 min.
