1 pound fresh asparagus
1 package crescent roll dough
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup real bacon bits
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray.
Break off tough ends of the asparagus leaving just the tender tips. Steam until crisp-tender.
Separate crescent roll dough at the seams. Sprinkle cheese, bacon bits and green onion on each roll; place an asparagus spear on top. Roll up; place on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Slice and serve.
