Thank you ladies. My mom was one of a kind. She was a very special lady. The flag & case that was given to me at the funeral I had to put a engraved plate for it. It now sits on the fire place with a picture of her in it. It is getting a little better with the help of meds & very good friends of mine. I do a lot of arts & crafts & pittle in my gardens, but right now I can't that because it reminds me of the times when I little my mom showed me how to do this. My grand daughter felt my head & said I didn't have a temperature so I don't have a sick heart. I laughed at her. The things that kids say. She called last night & asked if I still had a sick heart. I told her it was slowly getting better. She informed me I was to make her favorite birthday cake. I told her I would try but she might have to deal with a store bought cake. She said okay. I have been working on a horse blanket quilt for her birthday. She is a Thanksgiving baby. The holidays are ging to be very rough. I usually see my mom on the holidays because it was our favorite time of the year. My mother really loved Christmas. Wll I better see what I'm going to fix for dinner tonight. I told my husband I won't be fixing burnt offerings. Maybe I won't burn dinner, flood my house or knock out half of power to the house. Oh that's right I did all of that last week. My take out would be better.
