Hi
This vehicle is a non runner with no fault codes stored
Have checked with launch and bosch kts
When ignition switch on and before attempting to crank intake throttle closes. If I disconnect throttle motor car starts
Surly this should only happen when stopping engine .
When throttle motor is disconnected I get code for it
Anybody came across this before
Thanks in advance for any help with this

Hi Alan,
Perhaps you have a short in the wiring to the intake throttle, but I would expect to see a fault code for a short in the wiring.
If you plug it back in with engine running does it still close ?

Had that fault once on a vectra, the reatining clips for the throttle body motor had corroded and the throttle body cover wasn't on properly. This caused the flap to close on cranking.
