Year of Manufacture: 2012 Engine Size and Code: 1600 9HP ( Optional ) Scanner Used: Diagbox ( Optional) Fault Codes: P1490 - DPF detected overload
Car has done approx. 34,000 miles, came in 189 miles ago with the above fault code, carried out static regen as Diagbox recommended, all ok. Came back today with same fault, freeze frame showed DPF differential pressure was at 168mbar. At idle today it was 8mbar, road test showed just under 175mbar under load, drives fine. Pressure sensor shows 0mbar with key on engine off.
Is the 175mbar too high and pointing to blocked DPF? DPF data showed ash level 33%, soot 4.165 G/L.
We also have the same fault/scenario with a Peugeot 207 with the same engine but it has done around 120,000 miles.
