Nissan Qashqui +2 - Service light reset #

Year of Manufacture *: 2011
Engine Size and Code *: 2.0 m9r
( Optional ) Scanner Used: g scan2 , bosch kts , Autologic , Delphi ds150

Hi Guys

Car is overdue its service (only 547 miles !!)

Can't manually reset the service light etc

Diagnostics can't reset the service either- no option

KTS says if its past Nissan's limit it has to be done by dealer tool only

Tried all the tools above, g scan2 , bosch kts , Autologic , Delphi ds150

Anybody know a way around this ?? other than a dealer visit....

First post from me.Try manual service reset with engine running. Works on some of the
late Nissan's. Hope this helps.

Had this , bit of a pig but it's def a manual reset ,took a longer than the service last time, can't exactly remember but I think one of the buttons is a hold rather than a push, good luck, def slightly different to autodata advice

Hi

I have a following short notes on file for 'late qashqui service reset' as I remember having a problem

it says > 'see haynes pro for service reset'<
that would indicate that AD did not work but haynes pro did, I dont have access to HP at the moment as my Delphi subs have just expired.

Also says > Highlight service / maintenance then press and 'HOLD' button < so guess that is difference.

OK following some late night research (nowt on the telly again) I found a video on you tube that was for the exact same vehicle.

It said the service reset doesn't work and to do a reset to factory instead.

Worked a treat customer very happy as local Nissan (25 mile away) wanted £87 to reset the light
