Hi we have this golf in with us. Customer complaining of rough running from cold and no power, once it warms up it is perfect all day until the following morning then it plays up again.we have plugged scanners in and only code we get is p0121 throttle position sensor.not sure why this would only upset running when cold or are we missing something.is there any sort of temperature sensor built into throttle unit? any help would be grateful.

just checked the code that is a improbable fault code maybe your fault is some were else egr? I mean the throttle is only there for egr operation? I would be checking throttle position when egr is actuated.

Just thought I would keep you updated customer needed car back so haven't fixed problem yet but is coming back in soon will keep you informed of progress.

customer has decided not to carry on with more investigations as its not bad enough.
