Toyota Landcruiser 3.0 D4D 2005 - Starting issue #
Posted by Dominic Casey on October 14, 2016, 3:42 pm Hi all,I have a landcruiser in the workshop with a starting issue. The customer complained of cuting out and no idle but was driving ok on the motorway. Then the next morning it wouldn't start at all,ie start and cut out start and cut out.I got 2 codes for immoblizer and crank sensor but i think they might be old codes as he said he had some non start issues a year ago.I suspect fuel solenoid at the back of the pump so I checked the voltage at the 2 pin connection.Green and yellow wire Batt voltage on cranking,Green and white wire 4.5 volts on cranking.Should I have Batt voltage to the on ignition ? because it doesn't make sense to have no power at solenoid when key is released.I'd appreciate your thoughts on this.
