Year of Manufacture *: 2009 Engine Size and Code *: 2.0 tdi CR CBD ( Optional ) Scanner Used: Snap on solus ( Optional) Fault Codes: 01025 p0401 Egr insufficient flow
Hi please wondering if someone can help me with this one the car drives well, no lack of power, no smoke, by the way the cars only done 40k miles on clock, you have to drive the car approximately 3 miles before it triggers the fault code 01025 p0401 insufficient egr flow, I have checked the egr valve cleaned it too, checked all the pipes, everything looks ok but the code keeps flagging up, I am wondering has anyone had similar problem on one of these or seen a software update.
Thanks

this engine has a EGR cooler, which if it becomes restricted it will give you this code . have you cleaned the cooler part ?? , a split turbo hose or any air leak in the induction side could also flag this code as the computer looks at air flow to work it out.

As said above EGR coolers are common on these. Check to see if the flap is jammed closed.

Thanks for your response I have checked the egr cooler which is separate from the egr valve itself, the flaps nice and free?
