This vehicle came to us in limp mode with the EM light flashing.

Fault code for charge pressure too low.

After doing wiring checks and replacing boost pressure sensor, suspected an ECU fault.

The ECU was sent for testing and has been confirmed as being faulty but not repairable.

So to replace the ECU, is this a dealer only job or can any aftermarket tool do the job?

We have Delphi and g-scan, but can borrow KTS, Auto Diagnose, Launch and a few others, but not Autologic.
