Nissan Navara 3.0 V6 V9X 2010 - Code P0488 EGR throttle circuit A #

Year of Manufacture *: 2010 112.000 miles
Engine Size and Code *: 3.0 v6 (v9x engine code)
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Solus pro
( Optional) Fault Codes: PO488 EGR Throttle control circuit A

Hi All MIL on vehicle runs fine .I don't know where to start on this as its a weird system just hoping some one has seen this before. A new EGR only available from Nissan is £840.00

Any help appreciated.

Hi Steve

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will help but I wonder if the fault code referring to intake throttle unit rather than EGR valve itself.

Aiden, I am definitely NOT more knowledgeable but I would agree that this fault code is likely to be referring to the intake throttle flap system and not the EGR valve.

Thanks for replies ,vehicle is coming back next week I will see if I can check operation of throttle body.
