Hi I've got a Peugeot 307 diesel that had been run for quite a while with the EML light on until it stopped we've repaired the vehicle and it now runs fine but after a while and I mean 2 or 3 days EML light comes on and the anti pollution warning comes on and a fault code P1462 and I can't find what it means we replaced the EGR valve which this code refers to and I'm told that the same engine is fitted to Fiestas and when you change an EGR valve on them the old EGR has to be erased from the ECU memory because it will still see the old EGR is this true or can someone enlighten me.
