Vauxhall Astra 1.7 DTi 2001 - EDU unit on the back of injection pump - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2001
Engine Size and Code *: 1.7 DTI

Faulty EDU Unit is bolted to back of Injection Pump.

Is there anyone who supplies recon units or even repairs faulty units?

Actually, just searched Ebay and there are loads.

However, if someone has a recommendation than that would be even better.

You could try repairing it yourself,it is usually dry/fractured solder joints on the pcb.Carefully cut the back cover off around the silcone bead.Failing this,try here.https://www.actronics.eu/en/

hi there
I used to repair these my self if you remove the back plate with a sharp blade once removed if you look directly in the centre of the circuit board you will see the solder will be worn away just stick a blob of solder on it. I used do a lot of these and had a good success rate.

Thanks for advice. Will keep for next time.

Customer picked one up off a running vehicle for £50 so it's now sorted.
