Hi
I was asked to look at this after others have tampered, It ran out of fuel and was refilled, started, filled at petrol station, then went a few more miles, was stopped and never started since. It's the same engine as the 150 bhp vectra. It's had a high pressure pump fitted since.
It has fuel at injectors, will turn over but not start.
A bit of easy start will not even make it fire?
On listening to it turning over it will slow a little at one point but you can hear each cylinder compress first (ie 4 then tight bit then another 4)
I know these will break rockers before valves but are they prone for it without breaking the timing belt. Do the woodruff keys shear on the crank or anything else to disrupt timing?
I had to go out to look at this in my car so never got too deep into it.
Thanks for any help in advance brad

Do you have a scope? There is a good cam vs crank waveform in the scope section.
As Glen has said how do you know there is fuel at the injectors?
