Hi I have this kyron in at moment with a intermittent power loss problem. The customer commonly tows a trailer and says this is when it happens most.

It had Vgt code previous and map sensor codes along with this. I did replace map sensor and it stopped the problem for about a month.

Yesterday my boss took it out, it had a clear memory when He took it out. When he came back he said under power he got a rattle like noise from the engine and it went into limp.
He drove it in the workshop and revved it and you could hear a load worrying rattle from around the chain area.

I plugged in the launch and found p1234 to be the only code.
This appears to be a manufacturer specific code can anyone give me the ssangyong definition please.?

Do they have probs with pumps? Chains?
