Renault Modus 1.5 DCi K9K752 2006 - Engine ECU powered up all the time - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2006
Engine Size and Code *: 1.5DCI K9k752
( Optional ) Scanner Used: DEC SS2

Hi
Got this one in with battery drain of 3 amps, if I pull ECU relay amps drop. Have swapped relay.
Any advice please?
Any one have engine wiring diagram please? Autodata doesn't list it.

Thanks Peter,
Any idea where the power supply control unit is? number 106 on drawing.
Anybody no where the main relay is for the ECU?
Any help please!

Take a close look at the engine bay fuse box.I have had a few of these with water ingress,causing this problem.Take out the fuse/relay box and look at the bottom left corner.

I'm with Andy for what its worth, check the UPC for water ingress.

You where spot on, renault had one in stock so must be common.

These are plug and play,no programming required.Also if you take a look at the new unit,there is a hole cut in the lower plastic casing conveniently positioned to let any water drain out!!

andys right its plug and play. I also sealed the lid to stop it happening again.
I have got dec ss2 so I could have programmed if required.
Also on my other reply I just meant if it was the fuse box, would it be a replacement or a dry out, Just to save time on waiting for a reply.

What about VIN no and ALT type? Yes they will work but the ALT type is necessary for correct operation.

If you have DEC then look under CONFIG settings
