Nissan Navara D40 2.5 2005 - Occasionaly cutting out at idle - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2005 Engine Size and Code *: 2.5 ( Optional ) Scanner Used: Hanatech
Hi
This vehicle came in with occasional cutting out at idle. The customer would complain that the truck would cut out at junctions and traffic lights but drives ok. It does do this in the workshop.
No fault codes logged. On pico scope, checked cam vs crank sensors for streached chain, checked MAF, checked fuel rail pressure sensor vs SCV. Fuel pressure good [checked scope data against known good]but the engine is 'hunting' slightly and you can see the fuel pressure raising and falling with it.
Checked fuel filter and fuel quality and cavitation, all good.
Charging system good, checked EGR and throttle flap. Also smoked inlet.
On scan tool checked activations and the fuel pressure shows 4060psi at idle, I cannot find the spec for this even though I have looked through the Nissan service manual.
Not sure where to go from here, any help would be greatly received.
Regards
Simon

Bit of a long shot but these have a small gauze filter in the banjo feed pipe on the pump that gets blocked and cause all sorts of running problems, might be worth a look just to eliminate it

Hi
We cleared injector programming and re coded. Re set SCV and all is good.
