Mitsubishi L200 2003 - What does TMG mean? #

Engine Size and Code *: 2500cc
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Autocom
( Optional) Fault Codes: Nothing relevant to the query

Greetings,

I am trying to tackle this vehicle which is a non-start and I am happy with the progress so far. However, as part of the investigation live data is showing TMG (actual) 0.7v when it should be 5v with ignition on and cranking. What exactly does TMG mean please? I want to eliminate this before moving forward.

Hiya Pete, funny how we always end up with the crap jobs? Everyone else has a go and gets paid and then the bloody things end up with us!
Looks like you need to check timing (TiMinG), either pump or crank/ cam. HTH, regards, Gwyn

Yes you are right about the crap jobs. I spend a lot of my time going to garages who after exhausting all their expertise come to me but I find in a lot of cases its a question of a "new pair of eyes" fortunately.

Had a customer the other day who had been to a garage and spent a lot of money trying to fix a fault on a vehicle. I told them my fee was £58 whereupon I was told they couldn't afford that because they already had spent over £300 trying to fix the fault. I actually did a "grrrrrrrr" when he rang off.... unlike me I know!
