Morning All
this van slowly lost power and stopped, recovered, checked fault codes no dtc s, changed fuel and air filter and it started ok. Customer took it away next day after about 20 miles same thing. No fault codes but this time checked data and surprised to see ECT -40 new sensor fitted snd its the same. However if I go in through EOBD the ECT is correct. I now suspect the ecu...any thoughts?

Hi Steve
On these bippers the first place to look is on the harness at the back of the engine[ near the bulkhead on the cam belt side].
If you take the cover of and pull on them as it goes down from the cam cover [where it is easy to get to] it usually pulls apart at the worst access point.
Its nicely looped to collect water. hth.
Regards Ian.
