Isuzu Trooper 3.0L 4JX1 2003 - Engine change #

Engine Size and Code *: 3.0L 4JX1

Hi all, info needed on changing engine on Isuzu trooper
We have a 3.0L 4JX1 engine in at the moment and would like to fit a 3.1L 4JG2 engine in it out of a 1999 Isuzu trooper but the pumps are not the same and also the engine bay plugs are not the same.
Need to know if anyone has changed these engines before.
The 3.0L has blown up.

Have you spoken to Isuzu about this, They have been major issues with this engine Isuzu and where having to cover them under warranty almost indefinitely.
