BWM 530d E60 2003 - Alarm fault after alternator fitting #

Year of Manufacture *: 2003
Engine Size and Code *: 3000

car came in for new alternator fitting and glow plugs.

All went OK but the customer has now come back saying that the lights don't flash when setting the alarm, and the red led in the rear window doesn't work either.

Has anyone had this happen before or is this just another customer trying his luck

Perhaps the system is not happy that everything is closed.

Errm bonnet switch??
