Peugeot 206 2.0 RHY 2005 - Codes P0400 & P0571 - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 05 plate
Engine Size and Code *: 2.0 rhy
( Optional ) Scanner Used: solus pro
( Optional) Fault Codes: p0400 p0571

Hi

Car has come to me after customer fed up with main dealer, back in may it went in with same codes and had electro valve fitted and brake light switch, egr is vacuum operated would light come if egr valve is faulty, being vacuum operated as long as electrical side is working would it sense valve operation?

I believe the EGR is monitored via the Air Flow Meter, what are your fault code descriptions as I haven't looked them up.

What testing has been done with regards to both fault codes.

Hi

Checked egr with mitivac would not hold vacuum replaced egr, was a bit of a twat to fit prob why main dealer went for easy option now working fine
