Year of Manufacture *: W Engine Size and Code *: 20T ( Optional) Fault Codes: P1251
As above.
Sudden non start/non run.
Code P1251 present.
There is fuel at the injectors on cranking but with insufficient pressure to operate.
From what I have read this is a good indicator of internal pump failure requiring replacement or repair.
1) Is this correct?
2) Can S/H pumps be fitted without having to be "Recoded"?
3) there appear to be several Manufacturer/pump options used on this. Are they interchangeable?
4) Are there any good places where these can be repaired reasonably economically?
(The Owner is willing to spend up to £500 on this but probably no more. I reckon this is likely to be touch and go but answers to the above would help making a decision)
Cheers

What pump is fitted and what testing has been done?
