Vauxhall Vivaro 2.0 CDTi 2007 - Code P0340 camshaft position signal implausible #

Year of Manufacture *: 2007
Engine Size and Code *: 2litre M9R780
( Optional ) Scanner Used: bosch kts
( Optional) Fault Codes: p0340

the van runs fine the light for faults is on but the engine managment light is not. the code /light will clear if van is not started, but comes on imediatly when started. i think it is a syncronisation problem or possibly had engine swap. has anyone got a pico file for this model to compare. the file attached is small but i can load the bigger pico file to the drop site if needed.

Hi.
I had a Nissan Primastar (same engine) before with a rebuilt engine. There are 2 different cams depending on the year. They have different cam pickup profiles. One has cylinder id the other only had one reference wave (from memory). I am trying to find the waveforms. If I can I will mail them to you (haven't figured out how to post yet).

Hi Kevin
Did you resolve this fault as i have a vivaro in at the mo which i think could have a timing issue.

These have a nasty habit of shearing the keyway in the cam pully, had this exact problem a few weeks ago!!
