Having bit problem with this 206 the now. Poor starting. But my first question is when I am revving the car flat out I was hoping to see a steady voltage but mine appears to jump up and down.
Surely the pressure cant be alternating that much??
Please be gentle with me, still fairly new to pico.

Hi Bryan
Nice capture
It would be nice to see APP signal on the capture aswell so we can see what you are doing with the pedal.
Are you holding the pedal flat to the floor while the capture is jumping about?
Maybe if you are the fluctuations are the pressure been regulated?
In this capture was the car hard to start? It looks like it started efficiently in this capture?
Always rule out the supply and check injector leak off with hard to start problems.
Also maybe add the crank sensor so you can check cranking speed.
Just to add for what it's worth, I can't measure Anything g with that capture but the fuel system looks efficient.
Is EGR ok?
Add the MAF to the capture aswell as APP.

Hi again
How is the fuel pressure regulated?
What fuel system is this?
Can you scope the pressure control and see if there is any relationship with the fluctuations?
Is there any fault codes?
Sorry for all the questions
If you are willing to scope n post we are all willing to learn.
Also where did you have the ground lead for channel A? If you decide to scope just the FRPS, if you use the sensor ground you will get a near perfect waveform with no noise.
Cheers James
EDIT : Just so you know if you are using more than one channel On your scope NEVER use sensor ground as your ground reference!!

Thanks for the reply James Well after initial checks and speaking to customer the whole job was going to be to expensive to fix. Faults logged with dpf and heater plug circuits, all four plugs stone dead. Dpf saying it needs cleaned on dash and owner says been like that for ages also needed battery and leak off on 2 off the injectors not looking fancy. good old DV6 engine, bet turbo not long for this world either But I really appreciate you taking the time to reply and at least the next one I can scope a few more channels for more interesting reading. Will try to answer some off your questions on it for the archives sake. Fluctuations where with the pedal held flat open. Car did start fine on that capture. Had to scope from ecu as access was dam rude and ground was just at battery.
