This vehicle has a buzzing main relay and other strange happenings when the ignition is turned on. My problem is locating the engine ECU. My Terrano 2 data says under passenger floor, being mindful of "LHD disease" I have also checked under the driver's floor and found only water! it is not behind either of the kick panels. Having found water I suspect a soggy ECU if only I could find it! A bad earth is also quite possible but would like to test back out from the ECU if poss.

Found the answer:- TD27Ti, under the passenger floor. ZD30DDTi, centre console below heater panel, remove much of centre console to access. My mistake was I thought all the Mavericks were 2.7s this one must be a 3.0! Having finally got there I checked supplies and earths to find a missing earth on 3 pins of the ECU. Traced this back out to the common earth point on the inlet manifold where a wire had dropped off. Unfortunately it was pushed down right behind the main loom so I did not see it on my basic checks in the area. The problem is I was not the first to see the car. When I got to it the intercooler was off and all the injectors had been cracked off at the unions. I find it hard to imagine the wire would have relaxed to where it was naturally, I'm sure clumsy hands pushed it there, oh well!
