Vauxhall Corsa 1.3D 2009 - EGR valve replacement - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2009
Engine Size and Code *: 1.3

Hi

Has anyone replaced an egr valve on a corsa 1.3ctdi eco 2009 model it looks a pig to get to its located between manifold and starter, egr valves are reasonable priced but unsure on labour time to quote, anybody done one before

I havnt changed one but have unsiezed quite afew by just removing the electronic section (3torx)and moving the mechanical part with some grips and a little wd40.

Not the best to do from memory last one we did my guy booked around 3.5 hrs

Yes done a few of these, need to remove coolant header tank, turbo hoses etc from around that side of the engine to make some room for yourself ! fiddley job but the more space you create the easier it is ;-)
