Landrover Freelander II 2.2 TD4 2007 - Slow to switch off #

Year of Manufacture *: 2007
Engine Size and Code *: 2.2 TD4
( Optional ) Scanner Used: SOLUS
( Optional) Fault Codes: NONE

Good morning. Had this vehicle in with complaint that when pressing the stop/start button it takes about 2 seconds before switching off. No hunting in the 2 seconds. Starts good and runs very well with no fault codes. Sorry but don't know where to start in this one. Trying to get info on this but thought I would post in the hope of some info here. Cheers

Check how quick the flap on the inlet manifold shuts after pressing the button.

What Injection system is this running?

It may be worth monitoring the rail pressure during the run down.
