Seat Altea 1.9 BXE 2008 - Code 00258 MAF sensor (G70) signal low P0120 #

Year of Manufacture *: 2008
Engine Size and Code *: 1.9 bxe
( Optional ) Scanner Used: snap on modis
( Optional) Fault Codes: 00258 MAF sensor (G70) signal to low P0120

Car going fine light came on dash i cleared code the light went off started the car the code came back but the light stayed off drove about 15-20 miles all great.Left job to do another Went to move car and light stayed on after starting same code and again car still going great.Any help please

Hi Jason,

Apart from clearing the code, what tests have you carried out with regard to the fault code?

Worth looking up the VAG code code on Ross tech wiki and the generic eobd P code as these don't appear to match your description! which i am sure is the reason for Kev's post

Correct, I really wanted to post better scanner

. It may have been more useful if the snappy had posted undifined code

Trying another code reader is the best way forward, as the two codes do not match by number and niether match the discription.

What version is your Solus running ?
