Renault Clio 1.5 DCi 2001 - Occasionally cuts out and restarts, code DF134 #

Year of Manufacture *: 2001
Engine Size and Code *: 1.5 dci
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Solus Pro / Renault Clip
( Optional) Fault Codes: DF 134

Car occasionally cuts out and restarts but with no power but it's running fine at the moment.

Code DF134 Accelometer circuit (present) retrieved on both Solus and Clip but with no further definition.

I have scoped the throttle and found both tracks working as expected.

Can anyone shed any light on this code ?

I am leaning toward rail pressure but car now returned to client until next week.

Just a bit of info for those who don't know. If you install Dialogys on the same hardrive as your Clip software you will often see a text icon on the Clip fault code tab, by clicking this icon you get more info on the DF code. Can be very useful at times.

Hello Mark how are you today, I think we are on Version 112. I installed Diology's about three of four versions back and all works well. If I can help any further dont hesitate to ask.

Sadly no, tried calling Snap On help line on 0845 no hung on for 30 mins listening to music and no doubt paying 50p a minute then gave up !

Note it says Accelometer and not Accelerator circuit.

Replace the word "Accelometer" with "Knock" and see how you get on. HTH

Try Googling DF134 Accelerometer Circuit. The first document may come in handy.
