Renault Scenic 1.5 DCI 2004 - Injector corrections #

Year of Manufacture *: 2004
Engine Size and Code *: 1.5dci

Hi

Am I blind (which is possible), is there any option in clip or any other of the diagnostic tools to check for injectors corrections?

Hi Pete,

Yes you are blind

I have never used clip for coding Injectors but it will be in there somewhere (I normally use DEC)

I will have a look in the morning if you are still stuck.

Thanks sir, maybe I put this wrong I don't want to recode injectors I want check comparisons. Is it the right word? Now I can see I'm not only blind I can't speak english either

I think the "Smooth Running Control" or "injection quantity comparisons check" is only available on the bosch systems but I may be wrong.

hi Graham maybe this is the case. So how we are testing thois injectors apart back leakage test? I hadoneyesterday for poor running and only one solution was disconnect the injector plug.I just wonder is there any other method of testing them on the car?

Hi Pete,

All systems will run some form of line to line balance, but not all will show you the corrections from the mean.

With Delphi look at the total duration (micro seconds at idle) and work out the relationship from there.
