VW Golf 1.9 BXE 2007 - Code P0183 16567 fuel temp sensor - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2007
Engine Size and Code *: 1.9 edc eng bxe
( Optional ) Scanner Used: vcds
( Optional) Fault Codes: p0183 16567

fault code relates to fuel temp sensor I have checked wiring and plug and all looks sound, replaced temp sensor but code returns has anyone had this before and can save me some time not sure if a ecu update would cure, live date shows the temp at 39.6 c ray

hi does the live data temp alter at all during warm up i seem to remember there is a problem on those with the ENGINE coolant temp sensor it would be worth checking engine temp against air temp and also against fuel temp with an over night left stone cold engine as first thing they should all read the same than you could try and observe them during warm up

FIX; found 2 wires broke under the car the loom passes close to the bottom hose and had rub through the loom also had to replace the hose as this was about to leak cable tied the loom back out the way. ray
