Nissan Primera 2.2 TD 2003 - Non start - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 03 plate
Engine Size and Code *: 2.2 td
( Optional ) ECU Type: solus pro

Hi

Vehicle is a non start the aa recovered to me and sayed it was the in tank pump ? although its HDi common rail diesel, there are no codes stored so i removed unit under back seat to find no pump only a sender unit, on live date there is no rail pressure, fuel is up to filter and down to pump so I presume it must be the high pressure pump any one done one before any special tools required

A big assumption, i would test the pump pressure before removal.

Injector leak tests?
Air ingress?
"Test don't guess", easy to say I know but very true.

new high presure pump fitted and vehicle now starts ok thanks for your help
