Hyundai i30 1.6 CRDi 2010 - At 1500 rpm it hesitates and stutters #

Hi all, hope you can help. Car runs perfect, then randomly, at about 1500rpm, it hesitates and stutters then runs normally. The only pattern seems to be about 1500 rpm, only happens when moving. No codes Tested Speed in and out for auto box. Checked pressures using current data graphing Checked ABS inputs Using current data, tested; fuel pressure at rail when fault occurs, the pressure stays constant. Checked, EGR, AIR MASS, throttle flap( anti judder valve), throttle voltages at pedal, coolant temp. Using scope, I checked for injector signal, two pilot and one main, checked crank and cam signals. I am not sure what to try next, I have advised the garage to test drive with scope connected, to see if injector or crank and cam signals change when fault occurs. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Your fault description sounds,to me,like a classic EGR fault.Can the EGR on this model be temporarily disabled for test purposes?

Hi David, thanks for teh reply, i thought the EGR would be active at that speed, which it is. It also reacts to different engine speeds and the air mass mg/st adjusts depending on EGR. Not easy to balnk this one off. Thanks for reply. James

Hi Mark, it is Bosch 3 but with normal solenoid injectors, not piezo. The pump is inlet control using MPROP. It doers not have a particulate filter, it only has 2 pilots and a main injection. No pump in tank, it has a primer hand pump in engine bay. James
