Jaguar X Type 2.0D 2005 - No power, fault codes P0100 & P2339 #

Year of Manufacture *: 2005
Engine Size and Code *: 2.0d
( Optional ) Scanner Used: modis
( Optional) Fault Codes: p100 and p2339

Hi

Car came in running rough at idle heater plug light flashing and no power plugged in got P0100 and P2339 used my scope on the modis and both mass air flow and knock sensor seem fine. tested cam and crank as well but to no avail

What info have you got on P2339?

I think you could be looking at an Injector issue.(Remember it is a ford)

thanks mark you were spot on i re coded the injectors and problem went away it still has a slight knock so im going to take them out and get them recon'd as the customer said repair it no matter what the cost start from the back and fix anything thats needed even offered to leave 500 just in case if only all customers were like that lol

Hi David ,

In my opinion you are better with genuine delphi refurbed units as i have seen local refurbed having problems and there was'nt a huge difference in price
