Peugeout 307 2.0 HDi RHS 2002 - In limp mode, ESP remote permanent fault #

( Optional) Fault Codes: lots

Hi

I have a peugeot 307 2.0 HDi RHS which is in limp home mode, due to I think,a fault in the ESP: REMOTE PERMANENT FAULT. Communication with the engine management ecu, incorect value received.

It also has lots of faults stored concerning the FAP, mainly due to the fuel additive reservoir being empty and issues with pressures before and after the FAP but thats another story, I would like some help with the ESP problem to restore the engine power as normal. Any ideas please.

REMOTE means a fault in another control unit not allowing the ESP to function.
Sort all the other faults first.

fap would take it to limp mode

More likely to be limp because of the additive faults.
Possibly will have " blocked diesel filter " message is displayed on dash as well.
