Vauxhall Frontera 2.2 Y22DTH 2003 - Code P0638 positive throttle control deviation #

( Optional ) Scanner Used: tech 2
( Optional) Fault Codes: PO638

Hi all

Problem with this vehicle PO638 positive throttle control deviation. Does anyone know the correct operation of the throttle plate as regards operation of control solenoid on vehicle start up and running i have checked all vac pipes and vac pump for suitable vac. Tech 2 actuator works fine.

Hi Mike

What observations have you made, when studying the throttle flap, through a variety of operating conditions? What is live data telling you about the throttle state?
