Vauxhall Astra 1.7 DTi X17DTL 1999 - Will nor rev, codes P1122, P0110 & P0100 #

Year of Manufacture *: 1999
Engine Size and Code *: 1.7 dti x17dtl
( Optional ) Scanner Used: solus pro
( Optional) Fault Codes: p 1122, p0110, p0100

Hello all

Car will start and run at 1500 rpm but no response from the pedal, pedal has been replaced and i removed the pump ecu to check the board for burnt soldered joints, cant erase codes.

Is anyone aware of wiring issues or ecu fault possibly any advice appreciated thanks regards Jeff.

Hi Jeff,

If you could give the definitions along with the codes it would make it a lot easier to respond to your post, will the engine rev to 1500 rpm or does it just run at 1500?

Looking at your fault codes I would be checking the pedal for it's 5v feed and also airlflow meter if they are missing then check fuses and wiring

Sorry ,definitions are p1122 un doc, but i believe its pedal track ?, p0110 intake air temp sensor voltage high, p0100 mass air flow sensor high input, fuses check out i think i will have to test the 5v output from the ecu, thanksfor now.

We had one where the pins on the main ecu on top of the engine had furred up. Needed a magnifying glass to see it.

i've had a van in today same age & model etc.
p0100 code, flat as a fart & smoking profusely
2 faults or possibly 3, can't say for definate yet, but maf code was caused by someone fitting the maf the wrong way round, performance & smoking issues almost certainly caused by the siezed turbo, can't test the maf properly with scope until the chance of decent airflow is restored
