Year of Manufacture *: 2005 Engine Size and Code *: 1.6 hdi 9HX ( Optional ) Scanner Used: Solus Pro ( Optional) Fault Codes: None
Hi all, This car has no faults but have a question for my own curiousity. It has an additive tank but as far as I can see it hasn't got a differential pressure sensor. When looking at the DPF info using Solus Pro (10.4) all the info is at zero apart from vehicle speed. How can I tell if it has a DPF or not? Regards, Bryan.

Hi all, I have today had a good look and removed the heat shield etc, but it has no pipes going to the DPF/cat. I then rang the dealer who told me that based on chassis number it does not have a DPF. I can only assume that the additive tank is fitted as standard but the system is only fully operative as an option. I also had a 2007 Fiat Scudo in today with what appears to be the same engine. That also has no pipes anywhere on the exhaust. From memory I recently had a 2008 Volvo in for service (again it appears to be the same engine) where the pipes to the sensor were very obvious, and the service schedule states additive top up at 37.5K and DPF replacement at 75K (which seems a bit OTT to me?????). Regards, Bryan.
