Vw Transporter 2.5 BNZ 2007 - Boost problems, code P0299 - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2007
Engine Size and Code *: 2.5 BNZ
( Optional) Fault Codes: P0299 Turbocharger low boost mechanical fault

I have scanned the vehicle and it only has one code stored which is P0299 low boost I have checked the waste gate arm and it is moving freely, as you drive along the road it boosts well up to 3000rpm then starts to stumble I tried disconnecting the air mass meter which had no effect, any suggestions would be helpful cheers Paul.

The last one that we had like that turned out to be a blocked exhaust, Might be worth checking back pressure. ( I think ours was about 2004 / 2005

The fault turned out to be a clogged up fuel filter

, replaced it and now drives perfectly!
