Audi A4 1.9 TDI AWX 2002 - Rear door locks not working - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 202
Engine Size and Code *: 1.9 TDI AWX
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Solus
( Optional) Fault Codes: 01330 Central ecu for comfort -J393 Defect

Rear door locks not locking with front door locks staying unlocked while front doors or locked. Check fault codes in comfort system and got fault code 01330 central ecu for comfort -j393 defect can anyone tell me location of comfort ecu an info on code.

Hi David,
The ecu for the comfort system is under the passenger floor carpet, unclip the sill cover and lift the carpet. Usual problem is water ingress from pollen filter housing under bonnet. hope this helps you.cheers D.F.

As David says we have done these, one flooded quite deep managed to get everything working except one rear window I think, lots of drying out, this one also had previously had a body repair at another garage and they had not quite sealed a seam behind the osr lamp. All the best, Phil.

have you check wiring loom to rear doors had 1 in with 9 wires snapped rewirew now fine

FIXED Replaced Comfort modul and every thing working perfect no signs of water ingress could not program remote control using Snap on Solus and Opus just wondering is it possible with VAG com.Thanks for Your help lads
