Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi 2002 - Non start #
Posted by Dave Marshall on September 29, 2010, 5:44 pm hi all, called out to this car 2 days ago because non starter. carried out code read, lots of can communication codes[because AA removed ecu to check for water ingress]and p0193 fuel rail pressure sensor high input. Car has no engine management light and no glowplug light with ignition on and it will only crank for approx. 3 seconds before cutting starter off.checked output from fuel pressure sensor and found sensor to be faulty, got new rail from ford and connected sensor to harness, fuel pressure now reads 0.6v with ignition on[not 4.8v as before]but still no engine management light etc, checked all feeds and earths to ecu all ok, any help would be good.
