Why did you change the pedal and ecu? What logic lead you to do that?
You need to scope the feed, earth and signal from at least one of the sensors in the pedal. With one failed the car will still rev but not fully so just scoping one should be sufficient. This should make it quite clear what you're losing when the fault occurs.
hi the pedal was replaced first as fault codes indicated because when ever the car comes to the garage no faults are found only stored in ecu(after restarting the car it runs as normal for 200-500 miles)and as we have fixed many cars with similar faults we went for the cheap option. After returning the car & 300 miles more the fault reocurred with same codes, but yet again no running faults when it reached the garage. AFTER speaking to vauxhall they said they had replaced many ecu to cure this red herring of a fault code ,but could not explain the reasons, to our dismay it back again after 500 mile . we have done all wiring checks possible with out removing the loom. hope you dont mined me adding too your post duane
