Jaguar S Type 2.7 V6 2004 - Poor running, switches off injectors - Fixed #
Posted by Paul Mccooke on May 12, 2010, 6:03 pm Hi all, this jag starts and runs bad. After 20 seconds or so it switches off injectors on nearside bank usually cyl 4 and 5, and sometimes 5 on its own. I am getting injection- period deviation codes for all cylinders on this bank, can only com with eobd, (KTS). Have done leak off, all even, and scoped current from all injectors, offside bank draws higher current at 11 amps, ns bank lower at 7 amps? Don't know if this is relavent as not used to testing piezo's this way. I'm well short of info on this system nothing in autodata or sis cas, have read that this code can refer to cam timing, so i have started to scope crank to cams, i can only find 1 cam signal in loom on bulkhead, and cannot find sensors on engine, can anyone point me to info, pin outs, or component loctions, or correct me if i'm barking up a wrong un. Many thanks, Paul
