SAAB 93 2.2D 2003 - Bad starting from cold #

Year of Manufacture *: 2003
Engine Code or CC *: 2.2
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Acr 4

Bad starting from cold had leak off pipes replaced heater plugs working ok, Ive read somewhere on here before that injector seal are bad and fuel runs back into tank,Is they a recommended test procedure to diagnose a injector seal fault, sorry for this vague question not up on diesels

Two things to check Stuart.

1 Vac pump onto each leak off pipe at the injectors (or all 4 at once at the pump inlet leak off main pipe). Apply vac and there should be NO vac loss. Vac leak = fault.
2 Check the fuel filter for oil contamination (black at bottom). Oil gets drawn into the leak off and circulated around the fuel system
