VW Golf 1.9 PDi 2002 - Water sucked into engine #

Year of Manufacture *: 2002
Engine Code or CC *: 1900

Anyone sucsessfully repaired one of these after taking a large drink of water!this one stopped dead & is now smoky & missing,new engine 3.5k , con rods are available, is there likely to be any other damage?

yes I remember we done one passat about year ago. There was a bit much just the conrod- flywheel and starter motor.But mostly just a conrod likes to go.

Injectors would not have liked that.
So as well as having possible bent con rods, you do need the injectors tested.
