Hi Please can anyone tell me the position of the transmission control module as Esi says it's under the dash (drivers side) but the one thats there doesn't match their wiring diagram, Autodata says under the bonnet by fuse box but only the engine ECM is there.
The vehicle starts fine and revs fine but as soon as a gear is selected it won't go above 1k rpm and on live data is shows when D or R is selected but the box stays in neutral. Only codes stored was in the transmission, air bag and ABS ECU's for low voltage, these have cleared and not come back. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Russ

I think these are the ones that are part of the transmission. (I'm sure someone will confirm/deny that). You need to unplug the loom at the box and check if there are signs of oil leaking into the connector. Do a search on the 'net I'm sure I've seen it about on the Merc forums.
