I don't normally get to involed in diesels but the are too many and it's to to ge more indepth.
Problem with this Bmw is when cold won't rev
most off live data good and within spec i.e fuel pressure,engine temp etc. when hot will rev but has miss around 2000rpm.
Fault codes:
4222 Glow plug No 2
4232 Glow plug No 3
3ff0 Air flow meter
4B10 Smooth running controler
4B11 Smooth running controler
4507 EGR
4850 EGR

All clear but 3FF0 come on straight away when running.
Glow plugs re-appear when cold. and rest re-appear ofter run.

Engine temp 41 degs and Idle

AFM Actual 293.7
AFM Target 287.1
EGR Activation 58%
Boost actual 998mb
Boost Target 1000mb
Boost activation 91%

engine temp 41 degs and full throttle (only revs to 2500rpm)
AFM Actual stays the same
AFM target 700mg
EGR Activation 0%
boost act 1111mbar
boost target 2000mbar
Boost acivation 93%

when engine warmed up (will rev and lots of boost AFM actual and tagret same)
Idle:
AFM actual 480mg
AFM Target 295mg
EGR 0%
boost act 1000mb
Boost target 1050
Boost activation 93%

Check all vacumn pipes.
Smoke tested intake system.
Removed Egr which was very carboned up and cleaned
Remove inlet manifold swirl flaps clean and working.
inlet ports looked clean .
Carry out exhaust back pressure test.
After all that I fitted new AFM bosh unit reset adaptions and still the same.
Hoping somebody can help as I've hit brick wall.
