Hi lads, Hope someone might be able to shed some light on this one. Called out to a non starter,it started fine when i got there.It has failed to start several times while i have it.When it fails to start i have no glow plug/engine management light,when it starts ok i have glow plug light.When the light is present i have dialog with all available ECUs, with no fault codes,and when i have no light i have no comms. I have scoped Crank sensor,coolant temp sensor(replaced with VW new sensor),tested glow plug relay and engine control relay..also replaced as i know these are troublesome. The latest version of Autodata doesn't have a wiring diagram for this engine,it has for golf and bora but i did find some differences so i cant thrust it. Anyone got a reliable digram or come across this before and could maybe point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for any input. Cheers, Dave.
